The pgAdmin Development Team are proud to announce the release of pgAdmin III v1.2.0. This is a major new release of pgAdmin following a year of development work by various contributors.

pgAdmin is the most popular GUI PostgreSQL administration and management tool, with native support for Windows and Linux/FreeBSD. It includes the following features:

  • Schema browsing of all PostgreSQL object types.

  • Object creation/properties dialogues.

  • Threaded ad-hoc query tool with EXPLAIN support.

  • Table data view/edit tool.

  • SSL support.

  • Ability to connect and browse multiple servers at once.

  • Support for Unicode databases.

  • UI Translations into over 20 languages.

Replying to jwa@. I’ll add a note about that to the Portfile It would be better if we fixed pgAdmin3 to use a specific wxWidgets port. PgAdmin 4 is a PostgreSQL data base management program. Indeed, it is one of the applications developed by Jean-Michel Pour. It helps users in writing SQL queries and in other tasks.
